- The tongue is good or bad depending on how you use it.
- People abstain from all sorts of sins, but the tongue is the hardest thing is to control
- Some people speak with the sole purpose of degrading others and
treating others poorly

- The more people talk, the more chances they have of sinning
- Sometimes things are said about someone, but even though it isn’t true, it still sticks
- The tongue can be a poison (James 3:8)
- How many times have you hurt someone with your words?
- Always thing before you speak.
- Remember that when words travel, the story changes
- Words can cause division among even the best of friends
- Some people have problems with another person without even knowing it, just because of -something that was said

- If you want to save your spiritual life, you must control your tongue

- The knife may scar the outside, but the tongue can scar the inside
- Do not let you tongue take you to hell
- Let God control your words, so that whatever you say, you say in His name
